System Нер2О consist of polibutylene pipes with the diameter 15, 22, 28 mm and the wide range of fittings. It is used for the internal system of hot and cold water supply, the setting of central and floor heating for various kinds of objects.

The „barrier" pipe (for the central heating) differs from „standard" pipe by the cover, preventing oxygen diffusion in the system. The pipe resilience promotes the easy bending, as the result it is easier to construct without any complications, caused by the unbending bar. Besides, Нер2О pipe after reaming from the coil is becoming unbent. The connection is made thanks to the pipe indentation in the fitting. As the result we have reliable and tight connection without any need in glue usage, the usage of welding indentation by the pressure or twisting. The connecting gives a chance of free turning around the axle.

Cut off the pipe by the recommended cutters (HD74). Do not use a hacksaw. The pipe should be cut off in the point with the "<" sing, which at the same time defines the depth of precipitation in the fitting.

Put the helping sleeve (НХ60/...) at the end of the pipe.

Define the depth of setting pipe in the fitting according to the "<" sing or put the pipe to the visible thread on the frame and mark this point by the pencil.

Press the pipe on the appropriate depth. If the pipe is pressed in the wrong way it can cause dysfunctions in the system at once or later.

A. Turn off the screw and take out the pipe from the fitting.

B. Take off the gasket and sleeve (only in the new version with the green ring).

С. With the help of special rim which have the same diameter as the pipe, take of the ring.

В. Put the demounting elements in the fitting in the next order: gasket, sleeve (only in the version with the green ring) and the rim with the ripples up. Make sure the elements are not damaged. Turn the screw. The fitting is ready for usage.

Attention! The described demounting is for the three generations fittings, with the sleeve and green ring.

Second generation fittings are produced with the with ring and without sleeve.

In case the first generation fitting with the metallic ring is used for demounting, it is necessary to withdraw the steel ring and use the new one.

Internal elements should be placed in the fitting in the proper order.

The components of the all three generations are not replaceable, that is why they cannot be mixed.


“Standard” pipe is signed by the black inscription; “barrier” pipe is signed by the red inscription. On the fittings you can see inscription Hepworth and its diameter.


While projecting and installing Нер2О, it is necessary to remember about the chance to use less shaped parts, because of the pipe flexibility.

There is no need to measure the pipe pieces beforehand.

The pipe can be cut from the coil on the same place where it is used.

Installation can be filled with the water and tested at once the last joint is done.

If there is a need it is possible to make some correction, thanks to the quick cutting and joint that is just a bit complicate the buildings work.

| Jointing with the steel and copper

Hep2O has the range of brass threading joints which allow to joint with steel. Copper pipe can be jointed with Hep2O fittings. The cut of the copper pipe should be round, and the end of the pipe shoud be without scratches and burrs.

Jointing with the boiler

It is recommended to use 50sm steel pipe in case of boiler jointing. It is enough to use 30 sm pipes in case of usage capacitive and velocity boiler.

The pipe lying in the partition of the water supply system and central heating.

It is recommended to hide the system in the construction of the building. In case of laying the system in the floor it is recommended to lay it in the concrete preserving it by the pipe like a peszel, reinforced foam insulation, film or corrugated carton. In some cases there is direct need in isolation. This method is used in the case of lying in the wall. There is a chance of laying the pipe in the groove or channel without protection. In that case make sure the pipes will not rub against wall or concrete, ect. In case of installing through blocking and wall it is necessary to use the piece of casing pipe - sleeve. Before to start the pipe plastering and pouring it is recommended to conduct the testing by the water under pressure to avoid demounting mistakes. The recommended placing of support points differs from that which is used in the metallic systems.

Working Characteristics

The Нер2О system usage correctly guarantees 50 years of its service. The working characteristics according to the Technical approval AT/98-01-04 are pointed in the table below.

While choosing Hep2O diameters, the monogram from the catalog, computers systems or the advice of other projectors should be used.


The water testing under pressure is recommended only for one isolation at the pressure 12 atm. During 120 min. Every joint should be checked. The second testing can be made the receiver demounting under 6 atm pressure. The testing under pressure can do not notice if the pipe is pressed on the appropriate depth, that is why it is recommended to follow the demounting instruction.


The Pipe cutter is the only needed instrument. Do not use the hacksaw, because the appeared wire-edge can have the negative influence on the thickness. The tight laying produced out of EPDM and covered with the silicone for easy demounting. In case of fitting usage multiple times, the tight laying can be covered with the lubricant (S254).

The Yung module is 340-450 Н/мм. That is the lowest value in the plastic and it defines the biggest flexibility with the low pressure.

Thermic expansibility

The rate of heat expansibility is 1.3 х 104 m/mК. With the temperature difference 50 'С it defines the lengthening in 5.5 mm/m. Including the flexibility the self compensation method is used.


The fusion temperature is 125 °С, and softening according to Vacatе is 115 °С. The critical parameters for Hep2O system is 105°С and 3 atm. The system usage with the temperature higher than 90°С has negative influence.


With the negative temperature in the pipe Hep2o keeps its flexibility. To the temperature -4°С, water becomes the ice, it changes its capacity on the 9%. Polybytelen pipe keeps such expansion, it does not rift, and after melting it gains the previous shape.


The density of polibutylen is 0, 91 g/sm3. That is why the pipe is very light and the transporting even coil of 100 m is very comfortable.

Attrition and defects

Polibutylen has the higher rate of attrition durability and creaks among the plastic, it caused by the external work regime with the wall, concrete.

The material rate conductivity

The term "Y" is 0, 22 V/mК. With the wall pipe thickness 2 mm, the heat loss is lower and is to touch the pipe it does not burn.

The bacterium duplication

Polybutylem does not cause the duplication of bacterium and microorganisms. Including the criteria of bacterium duplication percentage (including Legionella Pneumonia), copper and polibutylem is characterized by the better qualities than copper and other kinds of plastic. The system is approved by the State Hygiene Institute.


There is no corrosion in the devices produced out of plastic. All metallic elements of the Hep2O system produced out of stainless materials.


Hep2O system was projected and tested according to the needs of the modern heat system and water distribution.

It was not tested for other usage that is why it is not recommended for usage in the gas net and with other thermocarrier.


Mistakes are connected with produced joints in the wrong way and usage or installation in the wrong way.

Testing water under pressure will define some mistakes. Usually there are the following mistakes:

Wrong installation depth

The pipe was put not deep, there is no tightness.

The damaged holding ring was used.

The ring while demounting can be broken. The ring will not keep the pipe in the right way.

Sleeve missing

Sleeve missing causes the fitting splitting out specially with the temperature increasing.

Damaged pipes

In spite that the pipe has high level of flexibility, if it is damaged, it can cause the disfunctions in the building area.
